I'm finding that, while the B-Wing is pretty powerful, it's also equally slow. I notice I have to "push" them with a ship to get them in attack range of an enemy ship. THis is very inconvenient when you're not going in a straight line, as either you have to use a squadron command or effectively let your opponent know where you're going to move your ship next.

How do you guys use the B-Wing? Do you think it's worth using even with it's cost (most expensive standard fighter squadron in the Rebel Fleet) and slow speed, or do you think it's generally better to use the cheaper and tougher Y--Wings?

When I have used B wings I park them where I don't want my opponent to go. That seems to be there best use since not many people want to be hammered by them

I do love B-wings, or at least the B-wing hero. Adar Tallon can really help get a B-wing to where it needs to be and is otherwise just plain useful. Alternatively a Yavaris with a B-wing escort can hit like a truck against any capital ship that is stupid enough to walk into it.

Yeah you kind of have to anticipate the enemy's moves and place them where they're going to be. Otherwise, squadron commands are your friends.
