So, Putrid Blightkings are sold out and no longer available. Is this the start of the end?

Could be the end of the beginning. Perhaps Nurgle is up next after Khorne finishes.

At a guess the blight kings are just gonna be repacked in new style boxes and have round bases tossed in as well, as they are brand new almost I don't think gw would drop them. The single figures though will likely not come back

I highly doubt GW is going to get rid of some of their best selling kits so soon, we do know they said some kits will go away in time eventually but I doubt it will be this one or even the older lord single plastic, both of these still sell very well and probably will for quite some time.

Nurgle is very popular with both pro painters ( because of so many options to go to town ) and gamers that GW would have to go full R on this one. I believe they will repackage them along with other kits that sell well, most things will be repackaged that remain I believe.

Not to mention that model was just used to show off Nurgle in next week's White Dwarf.

Here's to hoping for a repackage.

I doubt that GW will be getting rid of their newer plastics. The kits are probably being repackaged with round bases.

Repackaged and Rebranded on the Blight Kings. The Character models are probably gone for good.

For all the baseless speculation as to how GW can save money, one thing that is actually true is that mass production molds for our little plastic men are freaking expensive. What's more all the End Times kits were almost certainly made with an eye toward Age of Sigmar anyway, they are basically pre-released models that suit the game. People need to appreciate the difference between being sold out and being out of production.

Hello,
just wanted to ask about the situation regarding:
http://www.games-workshop.com/en-GB/Putrid-Blightkings

Are they gone for good, or will they be available after repackaging ?

Hi Alexander

Thanks for the email.

I am afraid that we don't have any information on if or when the Putrid Blightkings will be returning back to stock, but for the most up to date information I would recommend signing up to the newsletter if you have not done so already.

Kind regards

I'm a little scared I might not get the chance to finish my collection. Plus I wanted at least one more box of these guys
