Hai Y'all

So I started collecting SW (my first army) a month or two ago, and I'm not too sure how to expand it...any help would be wonderful!

I currently have bought 1 space wolves pack, 1 box of Fenrisian wolves and a Rhino APC. (and I own the marines from Assault on black reach, which adds 5 terminators, and a handful of regular marines, but the dreadnought was damaged beyond repair by my friend...grrrrrr!)

As I said, any help would be absolutely fantastic!

It depends on how you have build the pack up you have.

As you have a rhino and fenrisian wolves, I would aim for something like this:

Wolf Lord on Thunderwolf Mount
Thunderwolf Cavalry (x5)
Fenrisian Wolves
Grey Hunters in a Rhino
Grey Hunters in a Rhino

There are so many bits in a SW pack / TWC box that you can easily kit-bash a Wolf Lord on Thunderwolf. If you head off the the shop, you're wish list should be:

1 box space wolf pack
2 boxes of thunderwolf cavalry
1 box rhino

This will give you a force of about 750 points before any of the upgrades you'll want (storm shields on the TWC + a fist or hammer in there, some special weapons for your Grey Hunters etc) .

To round it off to 1000 points, I'd take this as a core, add in a drop pod and fill it with either blood claws or murderfang. Drop it in your oppo's line and they'll give it a lot of attention allowing your cav to move up with less incoming fire.

That's my 2p - feel free to ignore it!

Moogy gives solid advice there. From there, I'd look at some anti-tank stuff. That could be anything from Drop Podding Grey Hunters with 2 meltas and a power fist to Long Fangs with lascannons to Storm Wolf gunships to Land Raiders. Whichever suits your fancy, but as you progress into higher points levels you'll be coming up against increasingly heavy armour.

Oki thanks everyone for your advice, I'm probably going to get another Rhino and another SW pack when I go shopping next (I don't have much money at the moment...so it's the most I can afford right now)
but I will be getting some TWC when I can so woot!

Lord Corellia has a good point about anti-armour. Ranged anti-tank is arguably a Space Wolf armies weakest point. It depends on what you regularly face, but my first long fang squad has made their points back in almost every game they have played.
5 LF's, 4x ML and an Ancient with a flamer. They can camp at home, the flamer is nice when firing on overwatch and 4 missiles hitting a target can have excellent results.

Looking at the core of your army, I wouldn't concentrate on ranged, but go for the up close and personal approach - PFs, THs & melta. Drop pod a squad in with these kind of weapons and you'll take out a few tanks.

Your other option is terminators. You could go with a Cyclone to help with the armour, or you could go TH&SS - the storm shields again would help tank the hits and the TH's would make a mess of anything you would face. They aren't the cheapest unit, but fit a number of roles on the field.
