I've got a pretty large Dark Elf army that I want to use in KoW.

I'm not sure what's "good" in KoW, so if there's any gaps in my collection, let me know. My Dark Elf army is pretty huge, I'm only posting the areas I'm worried about.

20 witch elves, so one regiment of blade dancers. Is that enough?

20 RxBs. Should I get more Crossbowmen for KoW?

15 Shades, probably fine.

15 Dark Riders. Worried about this one, I heard Cavalry was good in KoW. Should I get some more? Maybe 5 more so I can field 2 regiments?

10 Corsairs. Clearly I'd need at least 10 more to field buccaneers... but are they even worth it? I have 60 spearmen already.

5 Cold Ones. Probably my biggest concern. Should I invest in some more Cold ones to sub as Dark Knights? I feel like 20 is a good number.

I wouldn't be that worried, but some of GW's models seem to be disappearing. I really like their current Dark Riders and Cold Ones, and I'd hate to miss out on them.

Hello, the Twilight Kin list is still not out since they're still trying to rebalance it. For now if you want to play KoW I think you have to play with a different army. That's not to say you can't use your models: maybe you can use them as count-as Elves or Kingdoms of Men in the mean time?

Given how balanced the new lists appear I would justr get whatever models you like. I expect it will take GW a while to get around to replaceing the DEs.

I wouldn't buy anything for the time being. Give it a go in the meantime but if you want to run a second unit of Witch Elves (or anything else), just use a unit filler and spread your existing models over two bases.

Unless you happen to find good deals on /ragequit WHFB armies. Then go for your life!

I think I will just buy 10 Cold One knights for now. That will bring me to a good number, and they are some of my favorite models.

My group seems to like the KoW rules, I think it may take off.
