so hears my Empire detachments. currently sat at 19 as couldn't salvage my very old Archers (from back in the days empire archers where made using the militia boxed set.). going to try and get a Hell storm Rocket battery to replace them.

My brain says swords - there's a lot to be said for making a 30 strong unit as tough as possible, especially since they'll be playing skirmish screen for the Greatswords.

yeah there swordsmen. Hard to kick old habits about army lists for fantasy. assuming everyone has a hand weapon. got to admit i miss the old version of beast magic. turning my mage in to a chimera or a hydra was funny as heck! "oh you have no monsters in your army, ha i win!" first magic phase. *big arsed dragon away!* "sorry did you say no monsters?"
