I have a ton of Kasrkin I want to use, any one have success with them? Know of any good lists? I read somewhere someone won a tournament with Militarum Tempestus but haven't seen anything via Google.

Thread pops up every now and then, wait for Vaktathi to post, but in a nutshell, they're not reallly good. The guy who won that tourney had more allies than anything else.

Its damn fun army to play, that said.

Flyer support from imperial aeronautica is kinda needed, a fortification helps (a bastion with a command squad inside is good).

It's worth noting that Forgeworld has specified that Militarum Tempestus is part of the Imperial Guard as far as their models are concerned. Meaning, access to Vultures and Avengers for the Fast Attack and Heavy Support slots.

You could probably have quite a bit of success against other armies with criminally overpriced units.

Not realy those are sv+2 most of the time, and tempestus are only ap3. But even against +3 models they are rather bad, because the guns are str3. They have problems with killing meq and bikers.

You can use them as Imperial Guard Veterans with carapace armour. Sure, their guns are wired up as hotshot lasguns but your opponents should be OK to use them as counts as regular lasguns.
