So I've long loved the art and mostly given up now on finding a local to me group that fits the style of gaming I want and which has people older than their teens (not saying younger people are bad but eh sometimes one doesn't want to be the near oldest in the group by a long margin).
So I'm wondering if anyone knows of any print ordering service that does a large range of MTG artwork? I've seen print sales at some larger pre-release events and I know that the multiple years and artists makes the copyright more complex for magic; but still I'm sure there must be a legitimate source of prints for the UK market somewhere?
Sadly my googling threw up many USA results and a few that looked unreliable plus chocked with a lot of playmats. So anyone know where I can get prints from?

Artist's personal websites. Find art that you like, google the artist, and buy directly from them. I've picked up lots of prints that way.

My thanks Sinful
Must admit whist I know Wizards are in the business of selling cards I'm surprised that they don't do prints as well as part of their company line-up.

I imagine it had something to do with their contracts with the artists.
Near as I can tell WotC can use the art on cards, rubber mats, sleeves, and othe accessories. I'm assuming the artist retain rights to the work itself letting them sell prints, and enter it into competitions. I know I've seen several pieces of mtg card art in the Spectrum art books, as well as other card games such as the WoW TCG and Legends of the Five Rings.

Yeah, at least initially, WotC was pretty committed to providing an outlet for fantasy art, and back in the 90s they really tried to promote the artists as well. When I was a kid, they published the addresses for artists in Duelist, and I mailed them cards to be signed.
I've sold all my MtG, except for those signed ones. I mean, Prodigal Sorcerer signed by Douglas Shuler? You can't give that up!

You can still mail cards to artists to sign actually. Some may charge you though. At conventions(such as gencon) the artists present usually set aside times to sign cards for fans.

That's cool! I figured you still could, but I"m guessing you can find the address online, not in a magaine
The art has vastly improved since Unlimited though, with some of the art that seemd really cool being almost amateurish today. I still think that the first few sets really did the best job of invoking a sense of wonder, with hints of this crazy world shown in art and flavor text.

Yeah you can walk up and have them sign stacks and stacks of cards while many other people look at you with riot in their eyes. Just. Ask sinful there about it.

It does get aggravating when you want to look at prints, but there's a wall of kids with stacks of cards to sign in the way. I'm pretty sure I saw some eventually put up limits of how many cards they'd sign for a person.
