not sure if this goes here, im very new to 40k, I started with eldars using the new craftworlds codex. im learning and getting there however I couldnt find any info on how to use the Uldanorethi Long Rifle, I'm not exactly sure how to interpret the x in weapon strength
please help

The weapon profile should have a special rule called 'Sniper'. In the BRB it explains what the x means for 'Sniper' weapons. Search for 'Sniper' in the index of your BRB.
