Has anyone looked at the organization/battalion for them yet? They seem pretty amazing considering you can tactically set up forest to teleport around the field. And durthu and 2 treeman ancients are pretty good at destroying anything they teleport to with ranged\casting. I'm looking at building a 100 wound list with them and the ability to teleport as well as having most of them in reserve makes it a lot harder for enemy's to know what's up

It's good, but it isn't great. I wish the formation was less restrictive, it doesn't allow Branchwraiths or Treekin, both of which are actually very good now. Especially Branchwraiths, as since the board will be full of forests anyway her ability to summon Dryads would be helpful.

Of course you can mix and match, having the formation plus a war scroll or two extra, that way you can include Treekin and Branchwraiths. Throw in a Spellweaver as well, her spell restores *models*, not wounds, making it 4x as effective at raising Treekin.

But just using the models in the Battalion will not make a great army. Expect the Dryads to be worthless and the Treemen to do all the Heavy Lifting. On the other hand, the Wyld Wood war scroll says two or more woods, so you can actually cover the entire board in wyld wood before the game starts assuming you have enough trees!

Yeah. I've been doing 100 points with at least one formation being used. I haven't tried the treekin tho
