Oh man, I like that obsidian golem thing. Can't afford it, don't collect those guys anyway, but it's neat.

It's about half the price it would be if it was branded by GW.

Daft question - I recognise the new models, but what's changed about the army sets?

Starter Army vs Army Set/One Player Battleset, it's a little extra money for +1 bolt thrower and +20 palace guard, while the Abyssal Dwarf old and new are the same.

For the more expensive option, Elf Mega Army vs Prince Tydarion's Dragon Host Mega Army loses 40 sea guard and the elf lord on battle dragon, but gains 20 Palace Guard, 10 Scouts, 10 Stormwind Cavalry, 3 Forest Shamblers, and a Mage Queen.

Abyssal Dwarf Mega Army vs Gorgoth's Legion of Terror Mega Army, loses 20 Black Souls, 5 Berserkers, 10 Decimators, 2 Katsuchan rocket launchers, and a metal half breed, but gains 20 Immortal Guards, 10 Gargoyles, 10 Slave Orcs, 10 Half Breeds, 6 Lesser Obsidian Golems, 1 Angkor mortar, and an Abyssal Dwarf King.

These are just the mega armies I could find at my local Mantic supplier though, I know some races had a couple of named options.

Old army sets are geared towards KoW v1, new army sets are geared towards KoW v2.
