Hey everybody been a member for a little bit but thought id introduce myself and an open letter to games-workshop
Well im 25 i live in hot o georgia i play lizardmen for fantasy i have a grey knight army as well as inquisition and just recently dark eldar
I have a passion for mordhiem and necromunda.

I also play other games here and there but dont have the armies for them anymore so i just use my friends when we play.

Now its going to be a little personal and not as graphic since kids may be reading there may be spelling errors since i didnt get to prof read it.

Ive been playing games-workshop games for 11 years now and hate to see all the bashing they've been getting lately seeing how games-workshop saved my life.
I was going down the bad road with my life the people i hung out with were very bad people doing some crazy things and i was right there with them, then one day i was walking through the mall and saw a store called games-workshop, thinking it was just a video game store or something i thought id check it out, when i walked in i didn't know what it was i just some a few people rolling dice and moving models around and stuff like that, a man who worked there named bob started talking to me and i knew he probably thought i was going to make fun of it and be rude but no i thought it was really cool, he started talking about what it was and the different games and when he said lord of the rings it caught my eye, after he showed me the starter sets for lord of the rings i thought ill give it ago and got one, luckily i didn't do much research on it so i was at the store almost everyday learning new things making new friends that weren't crazy and really cool, as i got more and more into it i started to play other games-workshop games and bob was always there to help me pick an army to start out with, time went by and id see my old friends ending up in jail or worse and i just say to myself everytime is that could have been me if it wasn't for this company,

Now i know that there are other games out there that i play aswell but i would have never known about them if it wasn't for games-workshop. i know people are mad about the new rules and prices and yes i kinda got upset myself, but at the same time i like that they are changing things a little, trying new things to see what works and what not, and i know they kinda lost there fan base when they stopped having to cool website with all the articles and things like that, but from what ive been seeing is they are trying , and giving the rules and new codex's for fantasy for free was pretty nice. But i also think games-workshop see forums like this which is awesome and think well we dont need to have all that stuff anymore just let the fans teach each other things, bring people towards one another making more friendships.

All im saying really is give them more support for being the godfather for a great hobby because without it some people would be lost or have a different bad addiction like i could have.
