Started basing up Island of Blood Skaven tonight on round bases, and was just curious:

What base size would be good for Warpfire Thrower and Poison Wind Mortar teams?

Thanks for the suggestion AegisGrimm. I had a few of those bases laying around, and put the skaven weapon team on them with putty.

For whatever reason, it just looked off to me (the base seemed too long and narrow for the weapon team).

50mm round allowed the team to fit, but looked like too much wasted space.

Did GW ever make smaller oval bases than the ones currently in use? If so, for what model line?
