Some quick shots of my Witch King model, recently sold. I used iridescent paints on the scales to give them a different sheen as it moves under the light, just barely sprayed on over the gloss black, so it looks a bit like an adder when it plays. I know that's not screen canon, but I liked the visual breakup of all the black on the piece. Also sculpted my own sword with some clear fire effects, first time trying that.

Stunning work on what is quite possibly my favourite model of all time!

Many thanks! I remember doing this kit after in a cast and crutches, trying to make a deadline on a local GW contest with it, hobbling from my bench to the sink to wash brushes, lol. Had a fun time building it, happy with the turn out.

Lovely work. It's a hard model to make really shine, as everything's so dark... but you've done a great job on it.

Those dull, leathery wings work really well with the glistening scales. You certainly captured the essence of the Nazgul.
