I have x2 armies for KoW (sold my orcs) one is my undead army from tournament the other is my current kingdoms of men army for the finals. I'm playing about 5 other warhammer players who are thinking of making the leap who game high elf, daemon and skaven....

Question concerns the one 40k player who wants in but doesn't have a army but has CSM for 40k and won't play undead. He said write me a list with my CSM. I had a fluff heart attack. Then I read a certain thread the other day about tyranids and thought...why the hell not if it gets him playing. If he likes it he will go out and buy a massive army knowing him.

So advice and help (not criticism please for the fluff desecration). I need 1250pts of KoW made out of pretty much anything from the CSM codex (he has a reasonable army plus multibasing) or at least point me in the direction of a list. And forgive me.

One example using the Ogres sample list:


Berzerker brave horde, using a bunch of Khorne Berzerkers, Posessed or similar angry close combat guys.
Warrior horde with shields, using close combat Terminators, Mutilators or other more armoured close combat guys.
2xShooters regiment, using bolter marines or other long ranged weapon carrying guys.
2xBoomers regiment, using flamer and melta marines or other short ranged weapons.
Chariot regiment, using bikes, chaos spawns, helbrutes or possibly Raptors/Warp Talons.

The abyssal dwarf list would work well too: they have guns and other black powder weapons, some demon type units like gargoyles (your raptors), halfbreeds (bikes), stone golems (spawn), bigger golems (one of those newer demon engines), etc.
