Almost posted in the showcase, but I felt it made more sense to put it here as I am not trying to show off my army.

So, I have been working on my Nurgle Warband and I'm starting to like where its going. I now come to dakkadakka for some ideas about the background and maybe some names.
I will post pictures of my Champions of Chaos and whatnot, for the more creative to come up with cool names! I feel like if they had names it would make the game a little more fun, add some depth and personality to the army.
My current idea is the Warband is pretty new, but making waves. Being Nurgle, they value strength and endurance, and believe those that lack it should be given a chance to obtain it. They go out on benevolent raids and fight all indiscriminately, and once they've beaten them they line up the survivors at gunpoint and give them an ultimatum. Except Nurgles gift of fortitude and spread the contagion... or die. This leads to a diverse warband where the armor and colors of the soldiers old allegiance, are corroded over by the great Papa Nurgle. Unlike most other factions of Chaos and the Imperium, they care more for the losses of their comrades. Probably due to a deepseeded fear of death, hence the influence of nurgle.
If you have any ideas to flesh it out a little better let me know

First up my cultist champions.

Left side is a converted Cultist Champion with shoulder pads and a mohalked helmet from a dreamforge stormtrooper. Right side is a Tau model with a chaos marine backpack and a looted Blood Angel shoulderpad. (Cultists for my army consist of DV starter set, some Tau, and NecroZombies from seditionwars)

Next my Champions of Chaos/Chaos Lords depending how I feel

Former Space Wolf, terminator arms, sword, and genestealer claw carrying someone whom didn't accept his gracious offer.

Chaos Marine with a boltgun and a powerfist(presumably a trophy). Most of the time he leads some plague marines.

Raptor Champion, armor has not been stained.

Still don't know if i like this guy, but he has a sword, banner, and Stormbolter as well as a a piece of a dreadnaught he uses for a shield. (White Armor)

Jumppack Sorcerer (Former Librarian)

WIP Former Ultramarine

And now for the Helbrutes

Yellow Helbrute

Former Death Company

Biggest of my Helbrutes, will act as Helbrute Pack Leader if I can get two more and run the Helfist Murderpack Formation

It doesn't come up then? That's unfortunate.
Will fix and re-post later
