Good choices on the colour scheme. Strangely enough, Winnie the Pooh really is referred to as "Pooh-san" in Japan.

I always thought the CAV designs were a bit ropey, but your paintjob is really selling them. I think I prefer your Deathwing colours to the official scheme, too. Nice work!

This is a really interesting project. I don't think it is immersion breaking at all, some people field armies that are substantially unpainted after all. I think your colour-accurate plastic is better than a grey horde, especially since you based the miniatures. This whole army traditionally painted to the same standard as the seer and the sniper would be most impressive, and that would be my preference, but if your objective is to build a ready-to-play army quickly then I think this is certainly one way of doing it.
