Hello everyone.
I'll keep this brief if I can.

First introduced to wargaming through Warhammer Fantasy Battles in 1987/8. Shortly afterwards started playing Rogue Trader and then 40K when it came out.
Started my own Marine Chapter, the Bloodhounds using the old green plastic 'Beaky' helmet marines. (Which I still have!) Then Realm of Chaos was published . Now that was 'Real Chaos', non of this mamby pamby lets join together chaos they have nowadays. My marines became associated to Khorne. With a name like the Bloodhounds, what do you expect?

In 1992 I joined a local wargaming club and a whole new world was opened up to me! I joined a small group within the club that played anything and everything, from ancient greek galleys to Necromunda and 40K.

I am now more of an 'army builder'. Meaning I collect and paint up figures and vehicles for fun.

I have an original Dark Eldar army from the box set that came out in 1998? that I've not used since then, which I'd like to update possibly. This is the reason I have joined this site. I am waiting for the most recent DE Codex to hit my doormat and I'm hoping to pick some of your brains for info too.

Sorry. This wasn't as brief as I'd hoped! As my name suggests, I've seen a lot of wargaming history!

Welcome back, fella. I hope you enjoy your time here!

There's a surprising amount of "old guard" still around, it's always good to hear of folks who're still excited by the hobby.

Hi,

Welcome to Dakka
