Good evening Dakka!

It has been a while now since i could say that i had an army of my own to work on. There have been several factors that played into the course of events that lead me to having to off load any form of playable force that i had, as much as i would like to say otherwise, it would seem that real life takes a more important precedence over little plastic army dudes. With a little fortune smiling on me, it seems that i've been given the chance to start up a new army. My first though was on what sort of force i would like to work on. After some deliberation on my part, i've narrowed it down to two. Chaos, as you should well be able to tell if your reading this, And Craftworld Eldar. Following some advice, i picked up two figures to work on, one character for each force. See which one was more enjoyable to paint up and work on. Im actually quite pleased with how my chaos figure has turned out. Save for the base, and one part i noticed on the backpack after photos, i've got it to where i like him, and want to selfishly show off a little bit.

Very nice mate, but i feel he needs a little contrast, or something to make him stand out as hes very dark atm which can look a bit bland, maybe give him brightly colored eye pieces.. Or something like that, which will make him pop a little more. Black and yellow hazard bands always look good on IW

Looks good! queen_annes_revenge is solid!

I personally collect Iron Warriors as well, you might want to take a look at my gallery (shameless advertising here ) to get some ideas for making the models stand out a bit more - I'm terrible at painting straight lines so I tend to avoid hazard stripes! The Iron Warriors use black on the inner part of their shoulder pads and lower leg armor - I suggest you try that, as it really makes the model stand out a bit more due to there being several different colours!

Anyway, good luck!

Looking good. Though he really does need hazard stripes. They're not that hard to do, and make any model scream iron warriors. FERRUM IN FERREA SINE.

I really like what you've done with the axe blades. Great job there.
