Sacrifice to the Dark God Tzeentch

Garner, North Carolina

Hello, hello! Just to get straight to formalities, my name is Brandon Sparkman. To answer the question that is no doubt coming into your mind, yes, that is my actual name. I'm actually just getting into Warhammer 40k after years of playing the Dawn of War games. The games introduced me to the world of WH40k, and I have to say, the lore is spectacular. Nothing has ever grabbed my attention and stimulated my imagination quite as much as the Warhammer universe. I have seen a few Battle Reports on Youtube, and I have seen a little bit of the game played in the past at a hobby shop. Now that I'm working and making some money, I can dedicate some of my time to building up an army, and eventually getting out there and playing some games myself. I'm a complete beginner, and I only started building my army about a week ago. That being said, any tips you'd be willing to share with me, whether on this thread or through private messaging, would be very much appreciated.

Since playing DoW, I immediately fell in love with the Chaos Space Marines. Oh my goodness, I can't even express how much I like these guys. I went out of my way to study their lore, and you better believe they're the army I'm starting with. Tzeentch is my favorite Chaos God, but they all have a place in my heart. I hope I can learn a thing or two on this site, and maybe even find some friends along the way. Until then, Brandon Sparkman, signing off.

Hi,

Welcome to Dakka

Welcome to Dakka, where we will smite you filthy heretics back to the hell you came. A last minute change to us loyalists may... Help you understand the greatness of our Emperor.

Eherm, never usually do that. Chaos can be a really fun army to play as it has lots of fun units to mess around with. And being a Tzeentch fan you're in luck, as they're rumors of a Tzeentch Daemonkin codex and/or a Chaos codex. So hold off on the codex purchase and work on your figures and painting

If you can't believe in yourself, believe in me! Believe in the Dakka who believes in you!

Hi man, welcome to dakka.

I've only ever played against chaos space marines once in a competition. I would say they're pretty fun to play against, the games against them can be very fluffy. I've had alot of experience with daemons themselves, one of my friends has them.

My advice to you is you should get a daemon prince. One can easily carve ots way through 20 necron warriors, and most will know that's saying something as crons are one of the most resilient armies in the game.
