Exactly what kind of material is used to produce dark age miniatures?

I heard of metal for infantry miniatures and resin(what quality?what fragility/resistance to hurts)for bigger stuff.Is right?

Metal for most.

Resin for many larger models, but not all.

All infantry sized models (and some larger humanoids such as the 40 and some 50mm guys) are metal.

Some of the larger models (the 80 mil ones mostly, but also some 50mm like Mongo) are high quality resin.

The Resin is a mid-firm one. Great detail, but reasonably sturdy. Feels in a way similar to HIPS Plastic as far as workability, so that's solid. For what it's worth, I have a resin Outcasts Mongo and he's pretty much a durable brick.

I think there were some hybrid kits earlier for a handful of the CORE robot models, but those all were transitioned to full resin
