Trying to squeeze a competitive list in 1500 for deamons using what I have

HQ 1
Be'lakor

HQ 2
a) Tzeentch herald, disc, locus of S6 flickering fire, ML3
b) Tzeentch herald, disc, ML3
c) Tzeentch herald, disc, exalted reward, ML3

Fast
x 3 Screamers (with heralds)
x 2 beasts of Nurgle

Troops

10 Horrors

Heavy
Soul Grinder, Slaanesh, torrent
Soul Grinder, Nurgle, battlecannon

Try and shriek 2++ cover save bike units, use guaranteed invisibility on belakor or grinders against wraithknights etc. Free small troops units from portalglyph. Occasionally try some summoning too.

Thoughts behind the beasts of nurgle - after I'd squeezed in most of the units I want, I had about 100 points spare. I have two gross lookin painted river trolls from my Orcs & Goblins army, thought they could make good beasts and a bit of a counter attack unit.

I would say that you want more screamers.

Beast of Nurgle aren't fast they are elite, and they suck so if you want to be competitive replace them with more screamers.

ok will ditch beasts and get a couple of extra screamers. Just feel that I am a little low on number of units, though I am more used to playing larger games than 1500.

Should i be bothering to try squeeze in 30 pts for an extra exalted reward for Grimoire, or is it too dodgy without Kairos?

Without Kairos, you're better off spending that 30 on Screamers

i dont know, but I just cant see a Screamer Star working without the Gimoire and the Grimoire isnt reliable enough without the Big Bird. You're probably just better off swapping Be'lakor for Fateweaver and grabbing another exalted reward and a screamer. Possibly go for two slaanesh/torrent grinders as well but i dont really have a whole lot of experience with grinders.

The plague hulks are better than you can make a Nurgle grinder but cheaper, have a poisoned 3+ torrent flamer, a S6 large blast ap3 cannon and are 150 pts
