Jumping on the whole unkillable army band wagon with necrons. I wanted my army to be relatively cheap for GW standards so I based it abound 2 battleforces. With 2 ghost arcs 40 warriors and 10 immortals its a very good start to a decurion army. I've also loved deathstar 40k I find it great having this one incredibly tough assault unit so I've also added a relatively hard to kill bomb unit.

So here's my necron CAD/decurion lists

1750 version
Necron CAD
HQ
Destroyer lord
Warscythe, phase shifter, nightmare shroud

Orikan

TROOPS
10 warriors
Ghost arc

5 immortals
Gauss

DECURION DETATCHMENT
RECLAMATION LEGION
HQ
Overlord
Warscythe, gauntlet of fire, phase shifter

TROOPS
16 warriors

10 warriors
Ghost arc

5 immortals

FAST ATTACK
3 tomb blades
3+ armour, ignores cover

3 tomb blades
3+ armour, ignores cover

Canoptek harvest
Spider

5 wraiths
5 whip coils

3 scarabs

1750 points

To take this list up to 1850 I swap nemesor for a standard overlord add in a tomb spider and 4 scarabs to make the canoptek harvest for the wraiths and swap the upgrades around on the tomb blades.

The way the list works is to have the wraiths with all the characters running up the middle with the warriors advancing slowly behind and the tomb blades capture objective late game or go for line breaker. The main power in the list is the mass of 4+ reanimation and orikan making his unit near unkillable (baring the big bad D). What do people think?

The first list, for 1750, you have under 20 models, you're going to get wrecked.

The second list isn't legal as far as I can tell... it's just a legion, not a decurion.

Seriously for 1850 you can take 4 warrior squads, ghost arcs, and loads more.

No it's all one list it's a CAD with the decurion as well. The 1750 list is all the models I said then I explained afterwards how I'd make it into an 1850 list.

The Decurion needs an auxiliary choice in order to be a Decurion Detachment. Right now it is just the Core Reclamation Legion.

You could remove 6 wraiths in order to grab a Canoptek Harvest with 3 wraiths. That will satisfy the Auxiliary requirement of the Decurion Detachment.

Oh ok in that case the 1850 list is fine and I just need a way to get the spider and scarabs into the 1750 list.
I've altered the 1750 list to make it legal.
