Many of the Khorne units have a mechanic similar to rending called Decapitating Blow. If the hit roll for a Hellblade is 6 or more, that blow inflicts a mortal wound instead of its normal damage. Up until this point we have been interpretting that to mean that no to wound roll is needed. However, an argument has been made that the rule only tells you to swap the damage characteristic, so you'd still need to roll to wound.

So it can essentially be read as generating a mortal wound on a roll of 6+ at the cost of the attack itself. Stop processing the attack and instead inflict a mortal wound (which bypasses to hit, to wound, save, and damage).

Thank you. Here I was going through all the war scrolls, looking for precedent. Didn't think to check the 4 page rulebook.
