I am PCSing to Eglin AFB Sept 1 and am wondering how the local gaming groups are. I have read that there are 2 stores in the area that offer table top gaming. I have 2000+ PTS in DA, and a decent amont of terrain. I am up for any game outside of 40k as well. Thanks for the read!

There are 3 stores nearby that have players for 40k, TBS comics in Fort Walton Beach, there is TBS comics in Pensacola, and then Game Masters Guild in Crestview.

I can't speak for Game Masters, but I played at both TBS stores when I was in Pensacola and they were both awesome stores with great gaming groups. Lots of current/former military players as well. They run a tournament every year called "Coastal Assault" in January/February and there are usually a few people who travel over to Mobile or Biloxi for tournaments there throughout the year.

I think Pensacola probably still plays 40K on Saturdays, the FWB location used to do Sundays or Wednesday nights. Website: http://www.tbscomics.com/

Man, you're making me all nostalgic for Eglin. That base is beautiful. I went kayaking almost every weekend without even leaving base.

I did rtc there when brave d was still a thing. Mesquito heaven. And all those dank trees for land nav. Ain't no trees in the desert! Haha. Prefered creech for rtc, but that base did have some bomb dfac food
