With the new and improved RG CT I'm about to build/model my first 7th Ed. squad and I'm starting with Vanguard Veterans. I was wondering how I should loadout them out this time around.

The fist squad of Vanguard Veterans I went with 2x TH/SS, 2x LC/LC and 1x Relic Blade/BP. Stick this or switch it up, thought?

As I'm looking to add a Shadow Captain Korvydae to my army, thinking the Space Marine Captain: Lord Executioner would be a nice model to use.

With 5 point power weapons it’s hard not to hand them out like candy. I still think the TH are a little pricy for 1W models.

I'd mix things up a bit between the power weapons. A few swords, axes, mauls if you can get some. Toss a few MBs around. It’s also still probably worth having a few naked guys to eat wounds. Or axe/shield guys to keep towards AP2 and live to take down monsters.

I've thought about a 50/50 split of claw & shield and melta bomb & shield. Nothing besides TEQ that squad can't munch through.
