Hello Dakka,
I have been lurking here for some considerable time. I finally joined to leave a comment about an army concept that has since become obsolete... so I am probably past due introducing myself.
I play mostly 40k, but am up for some RPG or CCG action from time to time. I have little time to play lately, and my armies are in disrepair to be sure. I started playing 40k in 1997 with a Dark Angels List, though most of the games I have run since then have been IG or AM now as it is.
I Jumped back on DAKKA because I am interested in the new DA codex, and especially in some new Ideas with ravenwing. I have been considering going with some tech-marines on bikes (per someone or another's phone call to GW customer support) with a swarm of single unit Ravenwing Land Speeders. Of course a clear add on here would be some Blackknights and the Ravenwing Support Squadron.
I have played nids too, and like I said guard infantry/Arty.
As far as hobby goes I will try to upload some photos, but I am hardly a great painter and mostly interested in doing conversions (for which my skills are also middling).
Of course there is always the nagging ask in the back of my mind that wants to do some Imperial/Crimson fists with AM arty for the thematics and hooah.

Welcome to Dakka

all I heard was blah blah blah painting and conversions, then I saw your picture. You are FA? there was a crew of you guys that used to scare the gak out of me...their mortar pit was right next to my tent, and I am pretty jumpy from doing RCP work.

Hi. Welcome to Dakka

TheEyeOfNight- I swear, this thread is 70% smack talk, 20% RP organization, and 10% butt jokes
TheEyeOfNight- "Ordo Xenos reports that the Necrons have attained democracy, kamikaze tendencies, and nuclear fission. It's all tits up, sir."
Space Marine flyers are shaped for the greatest possible air resistance so that the air may never defeat the SPACE MARINES!
Sternguard though, those guys are all about kicking ass. They'd chew bubble gum as well, but bubble gum is heretical. Only tau chew gum
