Hey all, while making a DIY renegade chapter, I thought I'd make a list. It probably sucks a bag of dicks, but I thought I'd post it to hear people's opinions

HQ
Typhus (As Lord Damocles)

ELITES
Chaos Termies x5
All armed with power weapons and combi-bolters and has the MoN

TROOPS
Plague Marines x10 in rhino

Plague Marines x10 in rhino

Plague Zombies x20

Plague zombies x20

HEAVY SUPPORT
Forgefiend with 3 plasma cannons

Obliterator with MoN

Obliterator with MoN

That is my list! Lots of fearless, feel no pain and toughness 5, which seems pretty fun. Like I said, the list probably sucks haha

Opinions and such welcome

Cheers

Will you be deepstriking typhus and the terminators together?

Find some points to give the plague marines some plasma guns.

You will find that a forgefied with tri ecto is very situational and is an enormous fire magnet. I would drop it for more obliterators. Also give your oblits VOTLW.

Almost no firepower and very low mobility.

Typhus and terminators have the same problem: they are designed for CC, but have no way to reach the enemy - or to follow the enemy. There is a reason for Nurgle Lord on Bikes being popular.

Today there are better ways to get cheap, resistant troops, such as allying Deamons.

Plague Marines should be kept at 5 per squad, but with 2 special weapons.

I like Typhus but I wasn't sure about his termies. If I get rid of the forge fiend and add another obliterator, what do you think I could use to add more firepower? For the fluff of my DIY chapter, Typhus (who I'm using the rules for as my chapter master) is really cool for it, especially getting the plague zombies. And plague marines suit the fluff too. As a basic idea of the fluff - They are a renegade chapter who are Nurgle, but instead of being ooze and infection, they are ash and decay, firey embers. They are fearless and can withstand a lot of punishment as bullets just break through the ash but don't stop them as easily. Relentless and unforgiving. So I thought all the Nurgle stuff with feel no pain and toughness 5, fearless - all dat coolness really suited them.

But! How can I sort of keep within that, but make it a bit more competitive? Keep in mind I don't like bikes haha (as much as they're great upgrades, I've just never liked them aesthetically). And for some reason I'm kinda OCD and hate using squads of troops that are bellow 10 dudes.

You need to trade plague marine bodies for the 2 special guns to carry.

VOTLW was my suggestion.

"Look upon me and know that I can slay you at will. You have no defence save one: to look into the darkness at the back of your own mind. There, you will find Father Nurgle waiting to offer you life in return for your submission. Deny him, and you are mine." — Typhus the Traveller, Herald of Nurgle

Okay so I've made some tweaks from your suggestions (unfortunatly I didn't get enough points to give the Oblits VoTLW)

HQ
Typhus

TROOPS
2 squads of 10 Plague marines, both with 2 plasma guns

2 squads of 20 Plague zombies

HEAVY SUPPORT
2 squads of 2 Oblits with MoN
