Ok so the Typhon Heavy Siege Tank is a SH vehicle that has a weapon with two different profiles, depending on whether or not it moved:
The Dreadhammer siege cannon has two ranges depending on whether the vehicle has moved or remained stationary.

But the shooting rules for super heavies say that they count as stationary while shooting, even if they moved.
Obviously the RAI is that there are two profiles, but RAW does only one of them ever get used?

Note to the reader: my username is not arrogance. No, my name is taken from the most excellent of commanders: Lord Castellan Creed, of the Imperial Guar- I mean Astra Militarum - who has a special rule known only as "Tactical Genius"... Although nowhere near as awesome as before, it now allows some cool stuff for the Guar- Astra Militarum - player. FEAR ME AND MY TWO WARLORD TRAITS.

Pretty sure book would override the brb in this case

Only problem is, the book came out before 7th did, and I'm not sure it's specific enough to overrule it

It is specific enough, the rules for apoc were the same.

It is similar to a chapter master in termi armor/on a bike firing an orbital bombardment: the chapter master is relentless in this case and so could fire ordnance on the move but the bombardment requires him to stand still.

The profile of the gun requires the model to be stationary.

The same thing also happens with the vulcan megabolter: it doubles its shots if the model is stationary.

This is my Rulebook. There are many Like it, but this one is mine. Without me, my rulebook is useless. Without my rulebook, I am useless.
Stop looking for buzz words and start reading the whole sentences.

2 profiles for moved or unmoved. Makes sense to me.
Did you move? Shoot like this.
Did you stay put? Shoot like this instead
