Hello,

Take a look at the Adeptus Mechanicus force – or rather, a beginning of much greater force of the Priests of Mars – done with heavy weathering. The army is strongly tied to the background material, with great care to the squad/vehicles insignia and markings. It’s just the beginning of a much bigger project of the Forge World of Mars…

Soon more servants of the Omnissiah will follow.

How is the weathering appearing to you?

Nice job on the weathering, and OSL. Both add nicely to the models without being distracting

Really nice job, I especially love the colour of the rusty metal on the base of the big walker, any tips on colours used?

They look awesome and the bases actually look like real dirt.

The only thing that looks a bit off is the outline of the backing film for the decal "74".

The OSL is really neat and tidy, its not too over powering, it adds subtlety and character to the model.

My only kind of question/criticism is that are the reds on the Dunewalker and the robes different? The dune walker looks to be a bit more purple than the robes (which appear to be a more orange red).

Is it just my screen maybe?

Very nice. I really like how the metals have a subtle grey greenish tone to them, really helps to add depth.

After the varnish is applied, the film is not visible.

Indeed it's a bit different, done in the way to robe and armour not blend and stay separately, both being red nevertheless.

It's just that specific painted on metallic area - it's doing wonders, try it out!

If you havent already you should pick up a box of them. They're not as expensive as other GW models and are really enjoyable. Plus: all the bits in the world!
