Hello all!

I went into my local store last week to buy a particular RPG, and ended up walking out with a Space Wolves Wolf Pack box. I have never played a wargame before, and I haven't assembled models since pre-adolescence. When I saw the beards and axes and armor, I immediately thought "Dwarves in space." Perhaps as a long-time Dwarf Fortress player I found this idea irresistible; but when I saw the venerable dreadnought with his axe and shield, like an avenging Star Wars gonk from Asgard, I fell in love.

Anyway, I've already found this forum to be a deep and generous resource for the game, so I decided to register as I read the rules and codices and assemble my first troops. Be seeing you!
