Does anyone here sell their painted models on eBay? I do, and I was wondering what the most popular models and faction are (I need to earn a bit so i can buy stuff for myself, this is the deal with my wife=$ O.o ).
I sold an Ultramarine Psyker (the one that comes by itself), and it went fast for asking price, so i was leaning toward Ultramarines, but what are the experiences you have had if you sell on eBAy?

The people that do usually keep their earners to themselves. They don't want the competition to flood the market and reduce the value of the models they make their cash off of after all.

I'd go for some of the "OP" models. People love the current bandwagons.

Get some grav gun weilding mofos, and maybe a skitarii crew with a drop pod

Best bet is to go with current popular units in the paint scheme of popular armies. Obviously ones here are Ultramorons, Imperial Fists and Salamanders, and the wraith army from Eldar and jet bikes. Warp Spiders are kind of a pain in the butt to paint well, but are very effective in game and many people I know who use them just slap a quick couple colors so they can work on easier models like wraiths. You might do well with the core units from each of the Decurion style armies. I know I hate painting bread and butter units and would rather paint the cool units.

You can look at what's been sold on ebay by clicking the "Sold" box, which is somewhere on the page (I think towards the bottom of the left side column). You can even search sold listings, so type in "40k painted" and see what the market has been...

I might be in the market for some painted models. Would you consider doing something for commission?

If you paint as well as that one Dark Angel in your gallery it looks like you're a better painter than I. but I'd like to see some more pictures if you have them.
