Here are the current Flash Git and Badrukk stats

Flash Git WS 4 BS 2 S 4 T 4 W 2 I 3 A 3 Ld 7 Sv 6+
Badrukk: WS 5 BS 2 S 4 T 4 W 2 I 3 A 4 Ld 9 Sv 3+

And here are the 5th edition Flash Git and Badrukk stats

Flash Git WS 4 BS 2 S 4 T 4 W 2 I 3 A 3 Ld 7 Sv 4+
Badrukk: WS 5 BS 2 S 4 T 4 W 2 I 3 A 4 Ld 9 Sv 3+

Note in the 5th edition, Flash Gitz save was 4+. Now it is 6+, which doesn't really make sense because they have good armour and big gunz.

Badrukk should have 3 wounds. This is because he has heavier armour than the Flash Gitz.

Their BS should also be 3 because of their gun size

And here is how the improved flash gitz would look.

I'd agree, but then, I think most Orks other than basic Boyz should probably have a 4+, or at the very least, have 'eavy armour as a cheaper option.

I dunno man, I think some of the justifications you're throwing out are pretty shaky here.

I can see the merits of the argument for a higher save, although I don't see what the size of their guns has to do with that. As designed, the models are pretty heavily-armoured, and I guess you could argue snazzy buggers like FGs would want armour as fancy as their guns. On the other hand, you could say that these dudes are so obsessed with ploughing every toof they can get their hand on into bolting extra gubbinz on their guns, they aren't gonna have anything left to spend on the best-quality armour, and the fancy, big shoulder plates are all just for show. And they're already pretty tough with 2 wounds apiece. If they did get an improved save, they'd need a significant points increase as they're already, with the current statline, the same points as a slugga/choppa Nob in eavy armour.

Saying "Their BS should also be 3 because of their gun size" doesn't really follow for me, and they already get gifindas, which improves their shooting, and keeps them Orky and flavourful. Again, it'd be a significant improvement that'd require a points increase, and now we're into the realms of a pretty high points cost per model.

3 wounds for Badrukk due to having "heavier armour"? Why not bump his save instead? Not sure he really warrants it though.

Tbh, I think they're mostly fine as they are. And I say that as a dyed-in-the-wool Bad Moon warboss who is all for massively over-equipping anything I possibly can.

I think Nobz across the board just need to have 4+ armor. It would help Nobz in boyz squads with annoying challenges, help keep Nob squad points cost down a bit, and help Flash Gitz survive vehicle explosions and small arms fire. The only other change I think Flash Gitz would need is that being in a vehicle moving at combat speed still lets them get BS3 from gitfindas.

Badrukk just needs a points decrease or some special rule for the unit like preferred enemy or being able to reroll the AP roll. Making him beefier isn't going to help the fact that as a shooting model he just cost too many points when you can take 4-5 more flash gitz for his price.

Personally I love Flash Gitz (note the profile pic) and utilize them in about 90% of my Ork lists. I think they are an undervalued unit and work incredibly well in a Blitz Brigade as the MEQ killer for the army. Also please note Bad Moon gitz have too many teef then what's good for a proppa ork and they pay the teef price. Deathskulls are right proppa and pay the choppa price for our snazz dakka.
