So me and my friends are planning some 40k games in the future. and on of the things that we were planning was themed games. specifically holiday themed.

I have come up with several halloween themed games but thats generally easy. all other themed games i am drawing a blank.

all suggestions welcome.

Catch Kris Kringle - Flying Chariot trying to be brought down by Imperium for being a Chaos Sorceror

Sleigh the Reindeer - Some reindeer have been showing mutations such as red, glowing noses. Whoever kills the most wins! (Have them all run around in random directions)

Save the christmas trees - have a ton of evergreens around the table and make each one have christmas-themed mysterious objectives.

Leman Russ Saves Christmas - Use the model that already comes with a sleigh and have leman russ drop off goodies to kids while chaos tries to thwart him.

Easter Bunny Spore Mine Assault. The Easter Bunny has hidden spore mines all over the battlefield. The side that "collects the most" wins!

For thanksgiving you could have a bunch of khorne berserkers trying to kill a great knarloc to serve at a feast.

TANKSGIVING

Only tanks...wait, strike that.

I love the reindeer idea.

"It's for the Greater Good, Charlie Brown!" Prevent a Tau force from destroying the various symbols of the holidays.

Big Boom--Fourth of July themed game. (Non Americans: Or whatever holiday your freedom-hating country shoots off fireworks on. )

Normal Altar of War/Maelstrom Mission, but whenever the last model in a unit is destroyed, center a large blast marker over it and scatter it 2d6. The blast has a Strength equal to the Strength of the destroyed unit (or rear armor-4 for vehicles) and an AP equal to its armor save (2 for vehicles).

Bonus points if you use that god-awful wolf-sled of Logan Grimnar and can shoot it down with an anti-air weapon somehow.

Battle of the Festival

Place several markers to represent the Toilets, food area and beer tent etc then begins the fight to the death to control the objectives!

Santas sleigh crashes, you have to defend him from the other player while he and his servitors repair the sleigh

OK, I'm nowhere near as creative as you guys are, so I'd love to hear some ideas for the next major US holiday. What would make a great Labor Day themed 40K game?

I have a bunch of Easter Decorations I like to use as part of whatever games we play during that time of the year, they are also close to the right scale.
I am looking into getting some Halloween building for my Fall Games, they always seem to be just the right size and could be real fun, There are at least two that produce smoke that I have seen.
