Hello folks, glad to meet you here !

So I'll try to make it short, my name is Armand and I'm 20 years old. I'm culturally open minded but -for example- my favorite kind of music is Metal (death,folk, some random bands). I'm french native and I study history in College, I'm also a member of a historical reeanctment society in eastern France. I had my time when I was playing video games a lot but since I'm poor I can't upgrade my PC neither my Xbox 360 (it's kinda boring actually).My favorite video game franchises are Halo and Megaman battle network and my favorite games would be Minecraft, Terraria, Star Citizen, Diablo 3, World of Tanks, Homeworld Remastered, Supreme Commander 2, the list goes on.

Concerning W40K, I've just started it all. I don't know anything about the rules since I haven't bought the Book of Rules and some Codexes but I did look around and my favorites are currently the Imperial Guard (Cadians), Grey Knights, Adeptus Mechanicus (both), Inquisition and Dark Eldars. I'm also willing to build my own terrain but I don't know any good tutorials for that and I stiil need to check the ones for painting. I'm warning you I'm very poor, since I'm studying and I can't gain a lot of money if not during summer.

I've joined Dakka Forums because I was questionning google for some army building tips and saw some guides here and there in the forums. I hope it's as well as it says !

Greetings! I played Halo and MM:BN as a kid. Good stuff.

You can often get armies on the cheap through sites such as eBay and the Dakka swap shop, among others, if you want to go the "used" route. Minis lose a lot of value when you break them out of the packaging.

The Dakka Swap Shop is a board on this forum where you can post what you are looking to buy and what you are looking to sell.

I've used eBay for years know and never had a bad experience, but I can understand your trepidation.

You're so damn right dude ! I started playing with my two little bros, they're smart and old enough to play the game. I'll keep moving forward into dawn even if I'm poor right now .

I'm not so much a competitive dude but I'm lucky to have a all-TCG & tabletop local store in my city to start (they are a famous brandin eastern France actually) !
