Ancient Ultramarine Venerable Dreadnought

Title says it all. Here's mine.
Badrukk's kustom horde.
Formation:
Kaptin Badrukk
Warboss with a power klaw and twin linked shoota
Big mek with shokk attack gun
Big mek with kustom force field
10 flash gitz with 6 ammo runts
1 squad of Tankbustas with no bomb-squigs
15 'ard boyz
RESTRICTIONS:
Everyone except Badrukk has 'eavy armour, which confers a 4+ armour save (Badrukk still gets his 3+ armour and 5+ invulnerable saves)
Ammo runts do not get armour saves.
Other stuff: If this formation is completely destroyed, it counts as 3 victory points
Points cost for this formation: 833pts

If the squadron starts with 3 tanks, for the entireity of the battle if armed with flamestorm cannons they gain torrent, if armed with assault cannons they rend on a 5 or 6.

Realistically, this would be a CotGW formation. Wolfs Really Unleashed Formation: All models must be Cavalry or Beast If the Wolf Lord takes a TWM, any other characters that are eligible for one get one for free. All models on a TWM in the formation get a free frost weapon or wolf claw.

Ork boy mobs numbering 12 or less may take a chimera as a dedicated transport, mega nobs numbering 5 or less
Kommandoes may be taken as troops choices
You may take up to 3 looted leman Russ as a heavy support choice, bs is changed to 2, 120pts each.

Mutilators and Obliterator have to morph weapons so their purpose is changed continually. Possesed have that random mutatiob chaninging them to rending attacks and beasts every turn. The defiler has ccw so it wants to charge but it had a 72" battle cannon so it also wants to be far away...

Captain Shrike and any other captain in this formation must join a unit of Vanguard Veterans, and may not leave that squad for the duration of the game.
Special Rules:
Strike From the Shadows- All models in this detachment gain the infiltrate and scout special rules.
Precision Tactics- On the turn that a model from this detachment enters assault with an enemy model it treats all of its attacks at +1 Strength and treats all rolls of 6 as precision strikes.

Probably to powerful, but maybe you could make it so enemies can only snap shot at the infilitrated units on turn 1?

Isn't shrikes strike from the shadows infiltrate and stealth? Could do that instead. Get a bunch of 2+ cover saves for a turn.
I'd say no assault first turn, it'd be silly.

Stand and fight!" -The battle cry of the Crimson Fists 1st and 2nd Companies during the fateful battle for Rynn's World, as both Astartes and Ork alike were cut down during "The Pile"- a desperate stack of Crimson Fists standing alone against the Ork hordes with guns blazing. Formation Composition -1 Captain* -1 Command Squad -1 Sternguard Squad -1-2 Tactical Squads *One may use Pedro Kantor in place of the Captain. Formation Restrictions -Space Marine Veterans may only replace their Boltguns with a Combi Weapon or a Storm Bolter. -The Command Squad may not take Jump Packs. -The Command Squad must take a Company Standard. Special Rules -A Final Stand: All Tactical Squads and Sternguard Squads within this formation count as having defensive grenades. In addition, any friendly units within 12'' of a Veteran with a Company Standard gain the Stubborn special rule. -Preferred Enemy (Orks)

This is something that I would love to see in the rumored Tzeentch Deamonkin book:
Sons of Magnus formation
Formation restrictions:
HQ must be a sorcerer or Ahriman
Troops must be 1K sons (no cultists)
Every unit that can, must take MoT
Formation benefits:
All infantry models in this formation gain the VotLW special rule
All bolt weapons (bolt pistols, bolters, heavy bolters) gain the Inferno bolt special rule
HQ and aspiring sorcerers gain access to the Divination psychic discipline
I think a formation like this could really help the struggling Thousand sons compete with the newer dexs.

There is no fun amongst the hobby shops, only an eternity of raging and spending, and the laughter of former employees who left GW to join better companies. |

Timely Arrival: All units in this formation must start in Reserves. All units in this formation arrive on Turn 2. Drop pods in this formation are ignored for the purposes of Drop Pod Assault.
Reckless Deployment: On the turn they arrive from Deep Strike Reserve, all units may charge even though they arrived from Reserves that turn.
