So exactly as the title says, I want to discuss tactics and ideas using the carnival of pain as a main army. I'm highly intrigued with this formation, and before purchasing or trading for it I wanted to see what tactical thoughts, ideas, changes, weapon load outs, etc you all had in mind, or have seen actually used. Also discuss how it fares, if it's fun, etc. And go!

On its own? No. The Flesh Corps is a huge points drag. The Epicureans aren't amazing, either. With virtually no anti-armor or anti-flyer capacity, and the points cost required, it just can't be competitive.

Now...as part of a larger force? Oh yes. I'd love to see one in an Apocalypse game some time. Some Psykers with Telepathy in tow to make use of all those stacking -1 Ld bubbles? Oh yes. You'd be able to drag some of the regular DE along too, to ,it's gate some of the armor concerns.

Welcome to the Freakshow!
