Hey Guys
Along with purchasing a venom heavy DE army I traded some Hordes for what I think is a decent cron army. But again haven't played 40k in years and waiting on the rulebook in the mail.

-What units are still viable?(I know wraiths are pretty much must haves now)
-Whats the best load outs for overlords/lords in a footslogging army?
-Are footslogging armies dead in 7th?

I probably have more questions........

What I currently have:
Overlord
Lord
Cryptek
40 warriors
8 immortals
5 lychguard (was going to rearm w/sword & shield)
5 Destroyers
Scarabs
Monolith
Barge

Destroyer cult is arguably stronger than harvests.

I run a non vehicle necron list pretty often. It's generally something along the lines of the following.
Decurion
Overlord - warscythe
5 immortals
10 warriors
15-20 warriors
3 tomb baldes
3 tomb blades
3 tomb blades
Destroyer lord with ++4/warscythe
3 destroyers +heavy
3 destroyers +heavy
3 destroyers +heavy
3 heavy destroyers

I think there might be another 10 man unit of warriors in there though. Either way, you can really fill up your deployment zone with necrons when you leave the vehicles at home. I toss the lord and D lord in the 15-20 warrior unit. 20 warriors with preferred enemy is a decent amount of firepower.

I have fought a decent amount of armies with this list, or a similar one. Sometimes there is a canoptek harvest in the list as well at 1850. Always preforms amazingly, never had much issue with games with it. Also it can be super fun to have so many units.

I have 10 lychguard on the way, and plan on doing a 5/5 split on wargear, but shields will probably win, super durability is awesome.

Note for OP: The purpose of Wraiths in an army that includes Destroyers is normally not to kill things, but to rush up and tarpit the things that could threaten the Destroyers.
