Is it just me or do the bloodbound seem to have a lot more synergy? It seems to me that all of the chaos units buff eachother whereas the sigmarites really don't do that.

I like the aesthetics of both a lot but it seems the rules for the bloodbound might give them the edge.

What do you guys think?

They do have a lot of synergy. It's especially apparent with those Bloodreavers. They're nasty with the right characters but drop like flies on their own.

I don't think Bloodbound has an edge out of the box though. The Stormcast take a lot of hits to go down. I've found the Bloodwarriors are only slightly more powerful than the Liberators even. The box is pretty evenly matched. You especially don't want to put the Khorne lord against the Dracoth Lord Celestant. The reality-splitting axe is a hero/monster killer.
