The Warp

Been away from the game for a while, trying to make sense of the new codex and get a competitve Eldar list with the models I own:

Craftworld Warhost detachment:

Core - Windrider Host
Farseer, bike, spear (warlord)
Warlock, bike,
x 3 windrider squads, no upgrades
Vyper, double shuricannon

Auxillary -
1 ) Night Spiner
2 ) Aspect Host - + 1 BS to all the following:
i) 6 Warp Spiders
ii) 5 Warp Spiders
iii) 5 Fire Dragons
- Wave Serpent dedicated transport for Dragons
3 ) Wraithknight, wraithcannons
4 ) Wraithknight, wraithcannons

1492 points

Plan - zip about with the spiders, night spinner and FD's in the Serpent to cause some problems, whilst wraithknights area deny if the opponent is smart or just waste stuff if the opponent is not so smart. Keep the windriders in reserve, then use them, the warlock, farseer and vyper to claim objectives. If I can get some useful powers on the farseer and warlock then keep them close to the wraithknights, if not then keeping them out of trouble as much as possible.

Any pointers re list or strategy most welcome

I just sold my Eldar codex so I could be wrong but I don't think this is legal.

Wraithknights are LOW and you can only have one.

Also, for the auxiliary, it looks like you need a detachment, no?

You've got the windrider host, but then there is no troop or HQ for everything else making it a bunch of unbound selections unless I'm wrong.

Lastly, I'd add cannons to all the bikes. It's a no brainer.
Might want to consider some dark Eldar allies to use a webway portal or venom for the fire dragons too

The Warp

The auxillary choices are a component of the Crafttworld warhost detachment, or whatever its called. In which you can have up to 12 wraith contstructs, which includes wraithknights as well as Hemlock fighters and wraithlords. If it was a CAD then I could only have 1 wraithknight.

Cannons on the bikes would be good, but at 1500 I want to add in some more killy stuff, such as the spiders and wraithknights.

Thanks for looking though

So the list is totally fine. And the tactical advice is not great.

What I would say is that you lack enough anti-infantry to be able to take on a lot of armies. I like the night spinner. I'd maybe drop the aspect warriors in this list and take another and acatter lasers in your Jetbikes (plus maybe a few more). OR drop a Wraithknight and max out on Warp Spiders.

You lack that density of str 6/7 shooting that most successful shooty armies bring to the table. Also. You lack a big shooty unit or two to best make use of your farseer's buffing abilities.
