Aside from the BA and the IK, I don't own any of these models. But after seeing the rules for the Ad Mech War Convocation I thought that they were insanly broken and made a list to demonstarte it.
Everyone aside from the BA has Canticles of the Omnissiah, that means 10 Canticles units. Plus since a Battle Congregation is used, you can reuse a Canticle. On top of that the Skitarii still have use of their doctrines and all of them get scout and crusader. As well as ld10 when within 12" of a Dunecrawler.
Gets hot rolls are ignored and the big deal is ALL weapon upgrades including wargear and relics (most of which are excellent) are FREE.
To top it off the Dominus gets to reroll his warlord trait.

How would you deal with something like that?

I don't even think you have maxed out on cheese here or anything like it.

If you take small squads with Max upgrades you can bring a lot more free plasma and haywire. And upgrade your Knights!

But you can only have 1 Vanguard and 1 Rangers squads, so to get max plasma and/or arc rifles, you need the full 10.
I only have the WD knight data slate not the codex so don't know all the upgrades for Knights.

It is possible by getting rid of a Dune Crawler, a Dragoon, 5 Rangers and 5 Vanguard to save 235pts. But id rather keep the Vanguard at least at 10 man due to the fact that they have insane firepower with 3 cavaliers, a phospor blaster, the relic pistol which causes 3 hits at st5 ap2 poisoned (3+) and 6 rad carbines. Keeping the Vanguard at 10 but loosing the rangers dragoon and dune crawler still opens 190pts. Maybe a Cullexus to counter invis. 50pts left. Veritas Vitae and Auspex on the Priest (Make Warlord). 30pts left. ??? Wasteful vet scout sarge with powersword and mbs?

Or for 30pts change priest to a lvl2 libby.
Quickening will help Ruststalker and Infiltrator Princeps a lot.
FoD combines well with Infiltrators Ld debuff.
Unleash Rage will be excellent on Ruststalkers and even better on Infiltrators.
Shield of Sanguinius will give Destroyers a much needed compensation for their 4+ armour.
Blood Boil is well... Blood boil.
Blood Lance is always nice to have even at WC2.
Wings will help Destroyer movement.

When taking knights, I always prefer Crusader, so I can keep him at the back and destroy from afar.
Unless you're predicting flyer spam, two sets of Icarus arrays aren't that useful, Neutron Lasers would serve better.
Instead I would recommend utilizing the Knights Icarus Twin Linked Autocannons Upgrade, and the Crusaders Avenger Gatling can glance the remaining HP off.

I'll have to look up the Crusader. I'm only properly familiar with the Paladin (which I have) and Errant (which I don't since I don't use magnets - dang!), also played against the one with the torrent weapon which is brutal (Archeon?). May invest in the IK dex to keep up with the times. Do you not find that not closing with the opponent wastes the stomps and the explosion if/when he dies (I'm assuming the crusader lacks a D weapon CCW?)?

The Crusader is Strength 10, so it doesn't get the D, but you keep it in the back and shoot, so who gives a hoot.
He has a Avenger gatling cannon, and a Thermal Cannon.
He can be upgraded to a Rapid fire Battle Cannon.

The only one I like more than that is Gerantius the Green Knight, for his 3++ invuln.
He's a knight warden, so hes got the avenger gatling cannon and reaper chainsword, but he's 500pts.
You might just take a warden, they're only base 375pts
