This model was an excellent Finecast specimen. There were very few bubbles on it, no gibbled details, and no excessively warped parts. It also contains a lot of detail that shows off the capabilities of resin -- details that don't appear on plastic models yet. It's hard to make out on the photos, but when you handle/paint it, you can definitely appreciate the very delicate detail on the coronet and the chains, or the earings, for example. The wings are also one of my favorite sets in the 40k collection, the Executioner's Axe is just such a cool looking weapon, and I love Astorath's facial expression.

OMG, this model has a lot of purity scroll to fill out LOL. Thanks for viewing, and I appreciate any comments and criticism!

Looking great

TheEyeOfNight- I swear, this thread is 70% smack talk, 20% RP organization, and 10% butt jokes
TheEyeOfNight- "Ordo Xenos reports that the Necrons have attained democracy, kamikaze tendencies, and nuclear fission. It's all tits up, sir."
Space Marine flyers are shaped for the greatest possible air resistance so that the air may never defeat the SPACE MARINES!
Sternguard though, those guys are all about kicking ass. They'd chew bubble gum as well, but bubble gum is heretical. Only tau chew gum

Thanks, everyone

@Matthew -- the muscles are actually part of the model! Astorath is a very unique sculpt, and probably one of the hardest to make a reasonable kitbashed proxy.

sweet. Always love your blood angels.

I find that finecast is either amazing, or the worst possible thing that has ever existed. I still like it more than metal however.
