How do you feel about the severe lack of Xenos Expansions? Should GW make more? If so, what ones?
Is Forgeworld and the IA books now the sole producer of Xenos Supplements?
Sure the Tau have the Farsight Enclaves, but it doesn't really break the mold that Tau already fit.
Personally, I would like to see a Tau codex covering more of the Kroot, Vespid, and Gue'vesa.
A few new unit types and heros of the servant factions. Expand on what daily life is like for the civilians of the Tau.
Plus, GW gets more models. Yay for money!
I want Necrons to get either a Szarekh or Canoptek Expansion. I have no idea how Szarekh codex would work. It just sounds cool.
Canoptek however, allows Forgeworld models to be updated into the standard ruleset. (Tesseract Ark, ?Ancantherites?, Tomb Stalker, Etc.)
It also allows them to go more in depth into the inner workings of the Tomb Worlds.
The recent Necron Codex does a good job of incorporating Forgeworld models, but leaves a few to be desired.
There are currently rumors about a Tyranid Codex/ possible supplement in the works. Somehow to be fused with IG. and it lets them fight together.
Don't ask me I don't understand that either. Probably all false anyways.
That being said, I don't have much suggestions for them. Perhaps a specialized hive fleet?
Something that makes them more shooty? Or better incentives for synapse?
Let me know what you think.
P.S.I searched but didn't see threads like this, but it was a google search. So not very hard. Pls inform if I have trespassed.

Imperial Knights- 5 Standard Knights / 3 Cerastus Knights
Officio Assassinorum - 4 Assassins
CSM - 500pts? Maybe? Its from the Officio Assassinorum box so I'm pretty sure its not enough to run in a CAD
Vampire Lords- I have no idea I bought it like two days before I left country and they're still in storage so I'll have to see when I get back.] |

IA12 (Necrons' book) was recently updated, so I wouldn't expect a new version of it soon.
I've heard that after the main books are updated (missing Chaos, Tau, IG and Tyrands, IIRC), GW will focus on small books (supplements, small factions, dataslates and stuff), so 2016 will bring a new breath for the game

Forgeworld's next latest update is going to be Tau heavy, is it not?
|
8th made it so I can no longer sway Tau onto the side of Chaos, but they will eventually turn aside from their idea of the Greater Good to embrace the Greatest of pleasures. |

IA12 was updated recently? I had not heard. Unless you mean when it came out.
That was 2013, a bit old for modern tactica.
I eagerly await 2016 then.
I wish GW would release a concrete schedule for the next several years, similar in nature to the Marvel films.
Or at the very least per edition of 40k.
They could update and adapt the schedule as problems arise, and allot for feedback from customers about whether certain codexes are desired or not.

People like you are the reason I have trust issues. I see nothing on FW's site in terms of an update.

Probably means a 2nd/3rd edition of their last IA book. Tau had an update a few years back with the toros campaign . All of their FW units are now in 1book (except the riptides).
