So I am looking at starting an army of Eldar but I really want it to be focused around the wraiths.
Do you guys have a good recommendation for the loadout on the wraithguard and wraithblades and also a wraithlord?
As my first units I'm gonna buy 2 packs of wraithguard and turn 1 pack into wraithblade, but would you use the axe or the sword?
Also what is a recommended wraithlord loadout?
Thanks guys! Appreciate the help.

I like the Wraithblades with axes, as they have AP2 potential and a invul save.
Wraithguard can go either way.
I believe the best options for the Wraithlord is x2 Brightlance, x2 Flamers and a Ghostglaive.
Brightlances are great for Anti-Armour, the dual Flamer is good for dealing with a lot of squishy units and the Ghostglaive adds more CC ability.
I love the Wraith look, but keep in mind that it is very strong and you may get people complaining about cheese, so try to be a friendly as you can while playing.

Yeah, the only way people will claim cheese is if you run nothing but D-scythes and multiple Wraithknights. BUT, even that has hard counters. Grav is your worst nightmare and it is everywhere.
I'd say, run what you think looks cool and you won't have any problems finding games.

Rule #1 is Look Cool. |

Play what you think is cool, but wraith blades tend to significantly underperform.
Wraith lords get knocked for being too slow, but that is only because of the sheer power of the Wraithknight. If there was no Knight, then lords would be considered solid units. The two flamer two lance load out is very solid.

You might also want to look into getting a Spiritseer or Farseer for psychic support, as it goes a long way with the low volume of fire that most Wraith units put out.

^Adding on to what he said, you might consider using the Wraith Host formation too.

Unfortunately, that comes with the Wraithknight tax. :(

Yeah. :/
In larger games though (such as 2000) one is okay.

The formation does make the Wraithlord playable again (runs 6" if I recall?)

How is the WK a tax? That is a cheese unit you want to take as many as possible because its 100pts cheaper.

I'm sure he was referring to the WK being really powerful for normal games.
