Alright guys need help making a slaanesh csm only list not wanting to take daemons as allies! I'm wanting to stay under 1750 points.

Hi!

I have played mostly Slaanesh CSM the last 2 years. Some of the units I find fun is:

10 Noise Marines
(2 blastmasters (these are the best in my book), Icon of Excess, Rhino with Havoc launcher, Dirge Caster and DOzer Blade)
Doom siren might be nice as well on champ, if you got the points. Expensive unit, but killy like crazy against much infantry and others. Divination sorc (CS supplement) adds more fun with Divination. I sometimes keep them in the rhino, which stands still and the NMs shoots the BM from the firing points. Sometimes they deploy outside of the Rhino, which then goes about it's business capping obj, messing with the Dirge Caster, and shooting Havoc missiles at stuff. Havoc launcher is great, TL blast s5 ap5.

5 Noise Marines
(1 blastmaster)
These guys camp a home obj, and shoot stuff. Easy to keep alive if you keep 1 guy out of sight a bit.

6 Slaanesh bikers (sometimes x2)
(2 plasma guns, Icon of Excess (dare the plasma better), and power weapon/LC and melta bombs on champ)
FUn fast unit which either draws fire or dish some plasma out

Slaanesh Lord on steed
(LC and PF, Steed, Sigil, possible some artifact depending on play style. Put in Biker unit for Outflanking plasma guns. Also nice to run with spawn.

5 Warp Talons
(MoSlaanesh)
I know, they suck you say. I have painted and converted 5 of these, beastman style. So I love them and play them anyway. They work wonders against marines or most kind of infantry. Ofc Spawns are much better in most situations. But cool is cool, and goats gotta jump.

Maulerfiends
I used these since 6th, and they have worked so well against most armies. Run in pairs of 2 (or 3 if you know what is good for you).

5 Havoks
with 4 autocannons. 115 for 8 s7 ap4 shots, range 48. Rare is the game where they do not make a difference and earn way more than their points.

These are thrown into the mix with stuff like:
Defiler
Oblits
Cultist blobs


Note that I play casual, and mostly in a prolonged campaign with 10 friends (2 years full of action). I have tested this alot against: Eldar (not the newest codex tho), Tau, Necrons, Dark Angels, Orks, Tyranids, Cult Mechanicum/Skitarii, Dark Eldar and Space Wolves.

I like this and mostly agree. I love mauler fiends and it looks like tank poping will be this list hard point. Maybe add a Drake for more AP3 ignor cover power to really get to them. I dont like taking all the extra stuff on my rhinos, but thats because i try to stay very mobile with them so a havoc launcher can never shoot, and dirge casters never work because they are not assualt vehicles.

Yeah, Heldrakes usually delivers. I am just a bit tired of them, so mine tend to keep lurking at the bottom of my box.

The nice thing with equipping all rhinos with dirge casters is that you get several rhinos who can possibly mess up enemies' overwatch. I have had many fights in which my maulers, lord, spawns and all kinds of assaulty units getting into assault unharmed, since the enemy forgot that the cuddly rhino had a Dirge Caster. It was especially tasty against Tau. Ppl tend to not fire on rhinos since they are cheap and there are most often better things to shoot at. Hence the greatness of getting Dirges on them. It's not for the guys inside the rhino.

I thought you needed ten marines to take one blast master? Also I've heard great things about maulerfiends so I will be getting 2 now after your reassurance!

5 Noise marines can have 1 blastmaster. 10 can bring 2. Expensive, but deadly, especially if you run Crimson Slaugther and get Divination on a sorc. Rerolls on those blastmasters will melt so many things.

Might as well get 3 Maulerfiends right away. You will not stop at 2, trust me. =)

Didn't it recently get FAQ'd so now it's per 5? I can't for the life of me find it but I am almost 100% positive you can take 1 per 5.
