The haemy above joins the talos squadron so they can deepstrike if needed instead of scouting. Grots will deepstrike, scalpel (obviously) deepstrikes. Two raiders of trueborn, venom of incubi, and venoms of warriors all shoot up field for objectives, let me know of any other ideas. There are NO fliers on my meta, hardly ever. We have one marine player who has them, but let's you know if he is bringing them.

The trueborn should never have a dracon, and they probably should be in venoms. with 4 blasters each. the other warriors look good though.

I could. I own 6 venoms. But when the raiders wreck, they provide more cover (if they don't explode)
Also, what do I do with the extra points points. They are so few.

If you want to run raiders, I'd suggest them like this:

10 warriors with a raider - shields + racks

Corpsethief is strong, but as they are monstrous creatures, no IC can join them. Scout them if you need to, or just run them up the board and charge anything that gets close.

Unless you play against a lot of wraithknights, I opt for chain flails instead of ichor injectors. It'll save some points.

Dang.. I'll retackle this and let you guys know what I come up with. Any other suggestions?

Good units to fill out the core:

10 warriors in a raider w/ shields & racks

5 warriors 1 blaster venom w/ cannon

5 trueborn 4 blasters venom w/ cannon

incubi aren't reliable enough to run imo, no grenades kills them. but they are fun to use.

I would actually say the issue with incubi is that the things that they are good at killing (terminators, meganobz) will probably not die, and then they die to whatever is left because they are just t3. 3+ armour is cool, except for when it is ignored and they dont get saves

They do a reasonable job of chopping up those guys, but are no more effective than hitting them with a bucket of dice from all the 4+ poison.

I agree though, no grenades isn't usually a problem, but does allow your opponent to limit their usefulness, by hiding their prime targets in cover, and they have a hard time making their points back with the leftovers.

looks a lot better. you should be able to handele blobs very well, and IC'c and MC's will not trouble this loost all that much either.

The biggest problem you will have is punching through armor at range. so depending on the meta where you play, this could be of no consequence, or a deal breaker.

That's why I'm hoping to wwp my way to whatever armor, if there is any. Thank you for the compliment though there are always weaknesses I guess. Unless you're eldar.


EDIT: I'm an idiot... The list also has 5 scourges with 4 haywire specifically to deepstrike in front of whatever is to much armor for the rest... Their a sacrificial unit.. wow how'd I forget..

The scourges are a good choice. alternatively you could try and squeeze in a ravager or razorwing if you want to try out one of those. However at this points level a single model of this kind would just get fried T1.

I have two fighters n one bomber. But I think the 5 scourge have a better chance

No tau in my meta. All friendly. We have a necrons player, a few marine players (iron hands and black templar), mechanicus/skitarii player, wolves, blood angels, grey knights with scions, daemons w/ csm, imperial knights, orks, and my dark eldar

You should do well then. By all means mix it up if you want, as they all fill a AV hunting role to some extent, as well as being fun to play. ^_^

I would fiddle with points to add another squad of 5 scourges with haywire blasters, but I only have 3 extra
