well i have sometimes to really compose myself with all these cool inspirational ideas that dakka is stuffed with to the ceiling...
on my shoulders i have two devils...the one on the left is urging me on to built new shiny things and then paint them... the other one constantly nudges me on to surf more here on this board and get yet again disatracted by new great ideas...
it is really most dire sometimes...

so i should just compose myself and think more straighter...yeah... as if^^

I have five-
one on my left, telling me to stop buying and build my stuff and paint them
the other telling me to buy more and more, the third on my head trying to compromise, saying "If we buy a kit in a few weeks, and while we're waiting paint the ones we have"
another sat firmly on my elbow sleeping, telling me to paint a guy a week and buy a guy a week, then spend the rest of the time eating, sleeping and gaming
the last guy on my foot with a crayon up his nose, eating lego.

well chibi i no for sure mine fellas are genuine devils as they kick the stuffing out of one wussy angel once when he tried to point out the joy of doing laundry and to do the hoovering...not nice to these small buggers to kick and scream and tear new noseholes on a fellow white clothed ...
whats worse than a devil? i know that the guy that keeps me pushing, pushing i tell ye! to buy new minis is sitting right behind me eyes...and he pushes me forevermore...at first i tried so hard but my powers are ebbing away...help...

yup perkustin... thought that too , will stand in for a grenade launcher...
so if nothing comes in between then i will begin work again on the wounded diorama...
i guess i have to do a much bigger base for the dio...and i will attempt to mae indents for standard bases so i can use the minis in a game too...

Congrats Vik on finishing the Noble imperials , i see you went with a nice dark babab black wash , looks really good on the base as well . i think these guys would give the noble ninth a run for their money in the bling contest , but yours would win because of the cool guns and flowing capes

well cant think the nobs would basha against each others... nobles obliges and all ... probably they would exchange cruel looks for the one who takes the last cucumbersandwich at the battleoffset teapartee^^

the meatshields have battle, the nobs just sip their tea^^

did i say i would work on the diorama of the wounded? did i actually promise that? well as ususal i got sidetracked or rather derailed by my ever so suffed desk and did a rather quick job on one of my sentinels...
bought that AT-43 model with four others from ebay some time ago and this model here was primed so i did give it a go...the primer was a bit strange and felt rather rough...i just covered the whole mini with mithril silver and then began to work with the colors...i also tried my best witha tiny sponge to get a weathered feel to the mini... after all colors where aplied i litterally drained the mini in badabblack and my new favorite wash devlan mud...for some reason the tension in the wash is just the right one, by the way neil i used devlan on the capes not badabblack as it served there better for me...

hope you like the effort...it was a rather quick job but i am rather proud of it and hope to do the same with a next one soon...

cool inspirational find for me chibi... looked for those wolverines and if i´d knew them before then this would be a scratchbuilt that would have come way cheaper...wellcould always be done later...

i got those from ebay folks^^ seriously they are fom the company that produces AT-43 and these particularly are from the fraction called red block...

and i did some more work on these...now i completed three of them in two days...wow^^

Haven't got a cellar door, but even if I had there would be no postcard.

Like these guys a lot, they are much more more characterful for Deadnaughts/IG walkers than GW versions imho

What's the proper name for the model? I can't find it when I search "AT43 red blok"

they are called "kollossus"...faction red block of rackham AT-43...about 30€s...
they came in a boxset of three once but since then the line AT-43 ceased production...which means in short...sales on rackhamproducts on stores and ebay...also i recommend the karman units... they could go for quite goodlooking ogryns with a bit of more armor...

I might have to get some after my GK to accompany my mr potato head stompa...heh heh heh...is it killa kan size or deff dread size?
