Bloodletters carve their way through many Orks but are swamped by their massed numbers, Khornate Bezerkers are covered in red blood as they slice and hack Orks apart but are crushed or blasted to red mist in return by the Orks savage and brutal creations while Juggernaghts go unopposed into combat only stopped by dog pilling Orks or Deff Dreads. Skargaz tears the head from the Chaos marine and slams it on to his pointy stick before push the lifeless corpse over and roaring Waagh! Once more.

Turn on da Shunta Shield!

A massive, red crackling shield spring up around the Ork flotilla. It moves in towards the planet, nearby ship being "shunted" out of the way. More droppshipz and landing craft are deployed, towards enemy ships and the planet's surface. Ork Fighters and Kill Kroozas disperse, harassing the enemy fleets as their comrades make planetfall. The Shunta Shield shuts down, a Deflekta Force Field springs up and Da Rusty Toof settles into low orbit.

While the main Ork craft are fairly successful in making it into low orbit many ships are heavily damaged or destroyed by Chaos and Dark Eldar attacks, the Daemonic hordes retreat leaving the Orks in a field of bloody red mist.

Background: The Dragons Encarmine are a successor of the Blood Angels via the Angels Encarmine. Early in their history, approximately half of the chapter went mad and turned to Chaos, sparking a massive war of attrition between the two halves of the chapter. Although the Gore Dragons were driven into the Warp, the Dragons Encarmine suffered terrible losses. They are now recovering, but still only have 600 Astartes divided between seven battle companies.
Eladius himself is Captain of the Fifth Company, and holds the title Master of Incursion. His chapter's main duty is to be at the vanguard of Dagon's invasion forces. As he enters the story, he and his Strike Cruiser, Wing of Fire have stumbled upon the Bluddtoff's vessel, Da Rusty Toof, and have come under heavy fire from the Ork flotilla.

The Wing of Fire limps away from the engagement.

The Dragon Encarmine begin to deploy onto the planet but soon begin to loose contact with ship as Iron Warrior AA-guns open fire with extreme precision are able to down several ships before they can land, several of the main ships bypass the ruthless attacks by releasing flayers and other heat creating devices. The Space Marines land in the barren area already surrounded by mobs of Daemons and Skulking Chaos marines and Cultists that kept their distance and watched quietly, a black shadow stands over the many Chaos marines. Its foul mechanical and bone form seems week but it’s obviously far more powerful than it seems.

The Chaos marine falls to the ground however the others continue a foul constant flow of fire power that forces the Assassins back inch by inch while the Sniper continues his attacks against the Chaos marines to no avail.

The Dragons deploy planetside, in three Thunderhawks and five Stormraven Gunships surviving. They carry with them all the company's tanks. They see the Chaos hordes.

By the Emperor, we are deceived! This area is crawling with Daemons and traitors!

What are your orders sir?

Fly over them, drop me with the Draconic Guard near their heavy weapons and find somewhere to put down

Eladius' Thunderhawk drops him and 10 Draconic guard, five armed with Glaves Encarmine and five with twin Lightning Claws into the Traitor's havoks.

(Draconic Guard) We ride on Wings of Blood!

The Employer looks at the Space Marines and laughs, the foul thing flicked its long thin metallic arm it sends them flying back and forcing the captain towards it before raising it to its foul metal head. A single red crystal shaped eye sat in the middle of the strange helm that glowed with strange energy, it observed the Captain and snarled;

"Doom is upon you fool, your Corpse mounted on a golden chair will not save you now. Maybe I will mount your corpse on a throne and make a religion out of it myself shall I not? or would that not be heresy?"

Do not speak of the Emperor, vile Daemon! I will send you back into the Immaterium myself!

The Draconic Guard attack the Employer's minions, and Eladius slashes at him with his claws. He pushes the reeling Daemon back, his jump-pack flaring and propelling him upwards.

Taste His cleansing fire, Daemon!

Planted melta charges wrack the Daemon's body, but he laughs and grabs the Captain as he descends

Brother-Captain!

A Guard hits the Daemon in the head with his Glaive, the Employer drops Eladius and pulls the Guard's head from his body.

The Employer lets out a screech and roars some evil daemonic worlds, the Word Bearers in the Chaos Hordes move forward carrying strange weapons and blades and a single Apostle points towards the Captain;

"Heresy! Remove this filth!"

The Chaos marine open fire while the Employer rains down psychic bolts.

Ludias brings the barracuda round and back to the fleet, signalling the shas'o he calls:
{Shas'o. you need to evacuate, the position is untenable. Orks have landed on the planet and their crude fighters are choking the space around the planet. We need to find a new position from which to attack from over}

(:I Agree Shas'O, I can't hit this many targets at once. The Chaos Forces will fight with the Orks if we retreat, its pointless to stay here and die.)

Suddenly, the Rusty Toof takes a massive impact on one side.

A large Cybork with a pirate hat walks onto the bridge, and shoots Grud in the head with a slugga.

Background: Never before has the galaxy seen such a sneaky, devious, deceptive, unsavoury, psychotic, treacherous, wealth-obsessed, backstabbing, glory-snatching, cowardly, shallow, vindictive or narcissistic character as Kaptin Badsnik Dakkanaz.
It is said that he has killed hundreds of other Orks with all kinds of sleight of hand, underhand blow and double-cross, not for power, not directly anyway, but for their teef. Badsnik has always had an unhealthy obsession with big guns, and clever weapon contraptions, and has dedicated his wholly dishonourable life to collecting such instruments and mechanisms, which serves the additional purpose of being able to kill enemies before they get close enough to beat the ill-gotten dental gains out of him

The Employer strikes Eladius down again, and strikes him repeatedly on the armour. It seems he is done for, but as the Daemon comes in for the killing blow, Eladius' eyes go blood red, as do his lightning claw blades. He slices the Employer, leaving massive gashes all over his body. He then picks the Employer, and throws him into the throng of daemons.

The Daemon is wounded, brothers, but not mortally, and it seems we are done for. It has been an honour to -

Engines are heard. A pure-white Stormraven with red crosses painted on its doors zooms in overhead, blasting at the Daemons with its ssault cannon and missiles. It swoops in low, and delivers ten white-armoured Death Company armed with power swords and a Chaplain into the fray.

(Chaplain) You shall feel the pain of retribution, Daemons!

The Death Company charge into the horde, vanquishing Daemons with every slash of their swords.

(Pilot) Climb aboard, brothers. The Death Company will hold them back. They shall die, as is their duty

You can't do that, that's far to many troops. You have enough as it is, you can't just create a fleet like that. No way can you do that, the post doesn't count.)

A Chaos Havoc group takes position and spots the Storm Raven, the commander points towards the ship and the Havocs open fire. The Raven spins out of control and begins to crash, the ship slams into the main area of the Space Marine compound.

Syrath fell to his back, his energy had been drained after creating that shield, even in the Eye he was weak. He stumbled drunkenly and balanced himself on a power core and hissed, life was hard.

(Into Vox)This is the Stormraven [i]Vindication of Sin[i], we have taken hits, we are going down. Captain, you must jump, we will not survive this crash. I'll vox the others, let them know you have survived.

The Captain and Draconic Guard bail out, activating their jump packs before the final impact. They make it back to the Company base.

Sir, you must see this.

The wreck of a dark red Stormraven is buried in the ground. It is rusted and half-buried. A massive emblem with a black blood drop and red wings is inscribed on the side door.

The Gore Dragons... here?

Next to it lies a Khorne Bezerker, the warriors crimson armor is cracked and broken and the helms eyes are both missing. The Shoulder pads have been torn from the arms and a long steel blade impales the Khornate Warrior, the work of an Employer no doubt as few creatures could do this to an Apdeptus Astartartes. It soon becomes apparent that the Gore Dragons had some run in with the Employers, the broken helms and equipment of the Space Marines lie littered and buried under the tainted dirt of this world.

The Orks soon flee as the Dark Eldar slice their ships apart in seconds with Dark Lances forcing them back while the Tau open fire with Plasma weapons that incinerate any Ork Projectiles or ships, a black Shadow soon appears near to the Ork ships and tears inside and confronts the Ork Kaptin.

"I...have a...job for you...with a grand...reward."

WAAAGH! ME DAKKA GOT ZOGGED? And wot da zoggin' 'ell is you?

On-World, Skargaz and his invasion force are in full-blown battle with the daemons, and he sees the SM birds flying overhead.

Look like we'ze got some beakies tah krump too boyz! Lets stikk it to deze spikiez and go smash dem up! 'Oo's wiff me? WAAAAGH!

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!

The Green tide surges forward, hacking and slashing at the massive Chaos horde as their vehicles speed onwards.

A massive Exalted Daemon Prince of Khorne swoops down from the sky, its feet replaced by Eagle like talons and its head a Dragon like skull that's are blood red. It points its massive scimitar towards the Orks and screams a dreaded praise to Khorne.

Ludias brings the Barracuda around and back to the cruiser where his thunderbolt is, a quick change of vessel and a hop back to the command ship later and he is heading towards the command center with Bel' and Hunter in tow. His new ship in the hangar below....

Syrath watched as the Snipers returned, Eldar. Foul memories of a long lost life, his former life. He despised his thoughts but also cherished them, even for such a dark, inhuman, evil mind Syrath still longed for a life of peace not war but he pushed these memories back. He was Syrath, glorious saint of Chaos Undivided. Not some pansy peace seeking Eldar, after this his reign of terror would begin. Dammed Employers, the backstabbing traitors would beg him for mercy. They would Indeed.

Dat's wun big zoggin' bat! Zog 'im boyz!

30 Stormboyz fly up to the Prince, and are ripped limb from limb in one slash. Bullets lash off of him, but they simply bounce off.

'It 'em wiff da Zzzap Gunz!

Dozens of Zzzap Gunz blast the Daemon. He stumbles slightly, screams fanatically then flies over to the Zzzap Gunz, breaking every single one. Nobz rush him, and he guts them all.

I'ze gittin outta 'ere!

Git back 'ere yah useless gitz! WAAAAAAGH! Fine den, I'll kill the git meself!

Ludias drew up a chair. And sank into it slowly, his mind was tired, and his body needed sleep. He had been awake for 56 hours and it was beginning to take its toll on even his enhanced biome. He looked wearily around the room to the Shas'o and saw a similar level of fatigue. Bel' of course looked the same as he always did. Nothing ever seemed to phase him. And Hunter... Hunter was hard to read with that darned helmet on him all the time. He could be wilting in that armour and Ludias wouldnt even know.

Storm turned to the assembled delegates again and casually stuck his feet up on the table, leaning back in his chair for a long awaited nap.

Beltayn watched the viewport and saw the fleets still clashing as the Tau retreated, he sighed. There was a saying in the Mon Keigh Imperial Guard about battle. "One day nearer the battle is another day nearer the grave." It said. Beltayn wasnt a pious being but he knew when to say thank you, he'd just lived through a battle in the Eye of Terror and come through relatively unscathed. For that he bowed his head, his hand clutching his soulstone amulet. He whispered a few words and then just like that, it was done and he went about his business.

He found a crate to sit on and began to maintain his rifle with a near obsessive particularity. After a few minutes he looked up and noticed that Ludias had found a table and seat and was now asleep. Beltayn chuckled silently as he felt his own fatigue. Beltayn reached onto his belt and pulled out a flask, unscrewing it and whiffing its contents, it was a rare elixir made by his kind to aid in doing what he was about to do. He took a sip, just a small draught, fro that was all that was needed and relaxed his sitting until he was seated, eyes closed, arms crossed , and legs folded.

He was not asleep by any human standards for his people did not sleep in the same way that humans did. If any human word could be used for what Beltayn was now doing it would be meditating. And so he sat there in that restive position, until someone summoned him or he detected a threat.

Kais watched Ludias fall asleep, and Bel, well, he knew Eldar never really slept, they were always in a constant state of awareness, but could still reap the benefits of "sleep".

He wanted to rest, dearly he did, but he was the Shas'O, the commander, he couldn't rest. He had orders to give, and tactics to plan.

Sometimes he hated his job, but he liked the power.

Ludias woke after a short time, his body never let him sleep for extended periods, but to a large degree it diddnt need to.

He motioned for the commander to come over and when the Tau approached Ludias shook his hand warmly.
"I will be heading down to the hangars soon to work on my ship. The thunderbird is more my style than anything you could provide so instead of requesting a ship I meerly require the materials to create this one to my requirements. If you can make these materials available to me then my service under you will continue until our predetermined time.

He pauses here taking a breath and releasing the Tau's hand.

"I dont need much, only a quantity of whatever alloy you have on board for working on space craft and a jump drive similar to the ones you use in your ships, or at the least access to the one aboard this ship so that I can reverse engineer it."

"Of course, whatever you need, seeing as how you have proved yourself to be very valuable. I thank you once again for your services, even with payment."
