Hi guys,
some time ago, we discussed about Imperial Armour Volume two second edition, and with your help I decided to start an armoured battle group.
However, I always thought cadian aren't grimdark enough for the 41st millenium, and I don't want metal models.
But, thanks to Forge World, I can change the look of the cadians !
I've always liked gaz masks.
But: there are two kits !
The infantry upgrade provide more stuff, but I'm afread to have unused bitz ( it's not really a problem...).
Where the hostile environnement provide barely the minimum.
Does anyone here tried the two kits and have an advice ?
What to do with all the standard torsos I will have if I buy the hostile enviro kit ?^^

I, personally, have a ton of the Respirator Infantry Upgrade kits--but if they'd had the Hostile Environment kit when I had been purchasing I probably would have gone with it.

It's pretty nice.

I bought:
1x 10 hostile environment cadians, (1 vox)
1x 6 plasma squad(3 plasma/3 lasgun),
1x 6 melta squad(3 melta/3 lasgun)
1x5 command squad (1 vox, 1 melta, 1 scanner, 1 commander)

with it I made:
1x 10 vet squad(3 plasma, 1 vox)
1x 10 vet squad(3 melta)
1 scanner
1x 6 command squad(1 melta, 1 vox, 1 commander, 1 lascannon, 1 HF)

with the standard torsos left you can get 3rd party legs/heads from madrobot and make more man.

if you want grimdark and respirator type folks just get DKOK, the look so much cooler and have such good looking gear/weapons
