I'd leave the bounty hunter out and invest the money in swords or clubs for anyone with a pistol (parry or +1S are both very good in Necro).

Also by having a Bounty Hjnter you are in danger of him gobbling up too many non-XP hits against early gangs which might limit gangers/Juves.

A nice trick I like is to give a Juve a hand flamer (assume Living Rulebook edition?), so you can sneak him up to any clump of gangers who are safely in cover (there will be plenty once the firing starts!) and flame 3 or 4 at once. I guarantee you opponent will have forgotten the Juve has a hand flamer and will get an unwelcome surprise!

Instant Juve promotion, Boom! Then pass the Hand flamer on to another Juve, rinse and repeat.

I'd also consider trying to replace a ganger with a second heavy. Their useful to have as Armour skills (one of their skill choices) are a real boon to get. Ideally you might want to give him a Flamer (support for shotgunner/Juves) but a Lasgun will do if creds are a problem. Once either of your Heavies gets +1BS the they get the Heavy Stubber.

Happy Sneaking!

I like to also give 1 or 2 Juves Frag grenades. After all, they have to deviate somewhere! Then again, I like using a Juve heavy list to artificially boost my numbers for Bottle tests as well.

Auto-pistols are better than Las-pistols. No -1 at range and the ammo roll is average.

Also, don't be lame and go all Las-guns. Boring. Throw in a few auto-guns for flavor!

I dont know where i am... please... i dont know where i am

i will go all lasguns.
i think i will give a juve a hnad flamer.
one of the juves has nothing and thats his job.
i took out bounty hunter and ganger with lasgun for another heavy with stubber(dipping into my stash a bit.
i think i should take out 1 juve to get some points back.

List looks good now, but in the future a little more information would go a long way in giving advice/ tips.

For instance, is your group more casual, or is everyone going to bring the toughest list they can? Obviously this is supposed to be competitive, but my group doesn't really take necromunda seriously, so people bring the weirdest combinations (mostly for the laughs)

Which is why Easy E said to mix up the weapons because all lasguns (which are arguably the best guns in the game) can get stale for some people.

But if your group is serious buisness, then your list looks pretty competitive.

Also what rulebook are you using? ORB, LRB or NCE?

I think 2 heavy stubbers might make you a bit static and it can be suprisingly easy to fail an ammo check if you are rolling 3 or more to hit dice. It's allot of points too!

Plasma guns are pretty cool if you want something cheaper and S7 sends most gangers straight out of action (plus no 'gets hot' in Necro!). You'll find people will fear this weapon quite quickly if you can get one on a dude with improved BS.

As I say I like a flamer as my second heavy, it gives you some impetus to charge forward even with sneaky Delaques. Don't be the guy who sits back and relies on Heavy stubbers and Lasguns as it can make a fun game boring and will see you fail in allot of scenarios.

Other than that I think you gang is looking allot more flexible and promising.

its for a semi competitive group. i try to use lasguns because i have a imperial guard penal legion army and recently a unit of them went beast mode during a 40k campaign and i declared they served the penal legion sentence and went to necromunda. so naturally the form a gang. several of them were former delaques so i use delaques rulesets

Living rulebook means the Hand Flamer uses the normal flamer template which is what you want for the Juve HF trick.

My only other tips would be;

If you're using Lasguns you want to try to get anything that increases your chances to hit or reduces cover penalties, so +1bs naturally, certain skills or any opportunity to buy a scope (most are worth the money). Hotshot packs are worth it too once you have a shooter who has better chances to hit.

Buy a reload for the Heavy stubber as soon as you roll it.

Finally, my unwritten rule #1 for Necro is that Leaders get a Bolt Pistol and Chainswords from the get go. Nothing says the 41st millennium like a Bolt Pistol. There are better weapons with better rules out there for less creds but none are as cool as the bolt pistol. Being able to explain to you opponent that you just shot their man witha mini missile launching pistol wins everytime.

Of course if you playing competitively then your leader wants a Plasma Pistol. High Strength shots will be more effective with their better BS.

Well it's not my style of play but I can see it being effective.

What notprop is saying about switching weapons around is a good tactic (even if specific examples turn out to be not on your list) for instance the obvious if one of your lasgun guys gets a WS bonus or combat skill then swap his lasgun for a pistol to make best use of it. And vice versa got pistol wielding BS bonus guys.

Another trick is to buy grenades for a guy with a strength bonus because it will increase the range he can chuck the things.

Also, don't write off your meat shield juve from the beginning, give him a chance! Chances are every game he steps into you'll be cursing him (but actually your own choice) for not being able to shoot. You're only hurting yourself by sending a man into the field who can't do anything or gain any experience because you don't value him.

And yes auto pistols beat laspistols for the long range shot every time. 9 times out of ten a pistol shot is going to be over 4" why make it harder to hit by going for the laspistol? 4+ ammo roll is good enough odds especially when a 6 is still a hit. Chances are your last shot is always a good one and if you fail an ammo roll you have a wounded enemy to commiserate with you. Especially with a bolt pistol!

I've run some very Bolt-weapon-heavy lists in my time and they are a monster of a gang to deal with. Nearly every shot flying at you at strength 4! There's usually as many downed enemies as empty bolt cartridges but that's ok cause those weapons are still perfectly serviceable to pistol whip a guy out of action in the following turn. But again you might not have bolt weapons on your list and to be honest your lasguns will well suit the Delaque gang style.
