Morning Dakka Dakka.

Today I thought we could discuss the best possible way to field the Eldar Craftworld: Wraith Lord.

Now, I personally think the model is completely badass, however rules wise, I can't help but feel they are quite expensive points wise. Having said this, I am no expert on Eldar (new Eldar player).

So I thought I would ask the great Dakka community from there playing with or against Wraith Lord's.

How should they be armed?

Do they need to be taken in a formation to be effective?

Should they be left on the shelf?

I would really like, if we could get a discussion going, and figure out how to make this great model, effective on the field.

Cheers

A quick search would tell you:
Don't take the Wraithlord, take the Wraithknight instead.
It will draw fire, being big, and has heavy weapons.
It will die quickly, despite the high T, due to being big and a juicy target.
A popular loadout is: 2x flamers, 2x BL, glaive.
If you take it, take more Wraiths, and Spiritseers.
Apart from a wraith-heavy CAD, the formation is the best way to go.

I like mine, but other models are currently better.
